Rewards formula changed? (in General)

Do rewards have a NW factor into them? I started a new character, threw on the tattoo I had from Todd, and of course, he can beat people much higher than his PR.

I was PR 1, and fought Stump's char at PR 480, or something, and I got 2 exp for the win on a single minion? (1 fight)

I think this is a great idea- prevents people from swapping out uber-equip and throwing it on a new char.

Disclaimer: I make a not-so-good alpha tester because I have _not_ kept up with changes on CB1. So, if this is already on CB1, call me a n00b, and we'll all be happy :)

Ok, now I am confused.

I fight up to 2,000 PR characters, and win on the first fight. I have PR 1 with 1 minion. My NW is whatever a tattoo is, I think $5,900. I fight people with NW over 40,000.

rewards: 1 experience.

I don't get it?

On the other end, I hit Spid, Jr. before I realized that he had the tattoo, got a draw, little money, and no experience (the tattoo familiar was casting at over 3000 damage, so the best I could hope for was a draw). It sounds like a fight between a higher PR character and a lower character with a powerful tattoo is going to turn out to be a loss for both sides (except for the increase in score for the lower PR character).

I told my theory was that that tattoo hogs the exp for the damage he does.

Jon confirmed in chat that the tattoo does not take away any experience from the minions. But, there was still do answer offered for my concern.

ie, how a 1 PR character can get $10 and 1 exp from beating a 480PR team. I had very little untrained exp (maybe about 30-40), so the virtual PR was not an issue..

Sigh...

Anyone?

because that's the way it works, todd. you don't get bonuses until your PR goes up to prevent abuse.
