Bug: Chatmail changes usernames to random characters (in General)

I have received 4 chat mails so far and when they appear in the right hand pane at the top, the usernames are not correct. I got one from velo and they were 4 random letters. When I got 3 clan applications, they all appeared as coming from a player named "1".

When I check the Chatmail history page though, the proper names appear on the messages.

They weren't random, they were IDs.
