ToJ trains "Endurance"? (in General)

Under the description in Item Meta Stats for the ToJ, it says that the minion trains "HP, Evasion, Endurance, UC, ST, DX"

So, what's Endurance? It's listed as if it's a skill or a stat, but there is no mention of it apart from this tantilizing hint. If it's a reference to the Tat of Endurance enhancements, they would seem to be redundant with the other skills listed.

Maybe it's a reference to AC?

Yeah, it has an AC of 40, which I guess comes from it's Endurance. But it trains that and I haven't seen my ToJ's AC increase yet.

Maybe it works in the same way as a Tattoo of Endurance?

Endurance is not AC, although it has a similar effect. All familiars were erroneously getting AC of 40; fixed.

:( Opps...

So does Endurance do the same thing as Protection?

Pure speculation GL, but I'd say no. It seems more like it would provide purely physical AC, and no magical. Otherwise, a person who has a ToE that was worked with and received 150-200 AC from it would have a tremendous advantage over those folks who just wore their armor and cloak.

Physical AC makes sense! ;)

Like I said though, that was just speculation.. it could also be a number which reduces phys, FB and CoC damage (FB and CoC are elemental spells, so can be found normally) in a way formulated to need a +600 on the tat to equal out the same amount of damage reduction you would get from 80 AC.. Who knows? Only Jonathan :-D
