I'm getting 9 ba every 10 minutes right now. Yesterday I was getting 10. Is there a bug or is 9 the right amount?

It depends on how close you are to the #1 character position. As your character increses, you'll get less BA per 10 min. This is offset by the fact you'll get more xp and money per fight.

The higher your score and/or PR (don't know which one) gets, the lower your BA-refresh rate gets. It's a mechanism to allow newbies to catch up a bit.

Ah, and now we are in a smaller pond - makes sense!
But as the top characters rise in level will the changeover point increase too? Does that mean if I don't rise as fast as they are I will go back to 10 ba again?
