Question about Dispel Magic (in General)

Is Vampiric Aura affected by DM at all? Does your own DM cause it to fizzle? Does the opponent's DM cause it to fizzle. Or both? Thanks.

If I attack you and you have VA it fizzles.

Infact, following a test against the highest va in the game with my quite small DM it sent the va into the negative, thus causing damage against my opponent.

Player A's DM casting on player B causes each individual Player A's EOs (EC and AMF) and each individual Player B's EDs (VA, Prot, AS, GS, HA and GA) to be reduced or even nullified ("fizzle").

Conclusions:

- training both DM and EC (or AMF) is a partial waste of XP (you have to have an EC/AMF effect over DM effect to start being effective) - training roughly the same amount of XP into DM and EC would cause the EC to fizzle, and training double level in EC would cause the EC to be at only half effectiveness.

- training same amount of XP into ED on one minion is much better (vs enemy DM) as training it on two (or more) minion... example: in the case of two minions training AS for +1000 HP (~level 1400) each against a 1000 DM (~level 1650) would cause BOTH AS to fizzle, while training a single AS of +2000 HP (~level 2800) against the same DM would cause a +1000 HP effect on your minions.

DM is against the level of a spell, not effect.

You mean that a Level 1000 AS (+700 HP on 2-minion team) is only canceled out by a "effect 1000" DM (Level 1667) or higher ?
Are you 100% sure ?
