Find me a new game! (in Contests)

Hey, CB is a great game and all, but it dosen't fill those extra time spots. I only play it aout half an hour a day to burn my BA...SO!

I am making a contest to whoever finds me the best online game will win. The game must have these features.

-MUST be Free
-Preferably graphics
-Strategy/MMO
-If strategy, no 'rounds'...ticks/turns are ok

I hear this is a good game...haven't really played too much of it to be honest. Its kind of like CB though.

Played adventure quest...and runescape, and shattered galaxy, and P.E, and P.T.....

They are both really similar, kind of like a cb1 and cb2, made by the same guy. They each have ticks every 3 hours and you get 5 moves to use anytime during those 3 hours. Basically you fly some kind of ship and try to destroy the other teams. They're both simple.


I reccomend tvsgames, it was the one I played first and I think it's slightly better, the game also just started today so you'll be able to catch up to everyone.

The other one the game is starting to wind down, but still worth playing.

As the previous poster said, Anarchy Online free campaign with a "free subscription" for the base AO, but more importantly the other "free" game, namely Project Entropia, which is a (as their "infomercials" advertise) one of the few (maybe only) "massive virtual universe with a real cash economy".

Surprised nobody suggested this. It does have graphics, it is free, but there's not very much strategy - but it is mmo. You pick one of six classes, there are two pair of each a warrior, wizard and thief. I have a Disco Bandit, and he's awesome.

lol, i already play Kingdom of Loathing, and its a nice game :)....but doomlayer and you other guys...I said up top some of thew games I have played before, including Shattered Galaxy and Project Entropia.

No graphics but It is the best game out there, has entertained me for years. It is a MUD and in my opinion the best one in existance.

have you tried Star Wars Combine?....it's a good strategy/MMO set in the Star Wars Universe.....the gameplay, I find, is great, as well as the amount of graphics in the game...not bad considering it's a free online game, such as this one....

Project Entropia isn't free if you want to enjoy yourself.... It's really nearly impossible to earn any money without spending a lot. everything is a cash sink in that game, and no one wants to come off any money, because it's based on a real world economy....

I've been playing Second Life lately... there's a 7 day free trial, but then it's a one time charge of $9.95. The neat thing about it, is that it's a big, open world where the users create the content. There are tools, in game, to create things in 3D, and then add scripting to them. And people have taken that and made amusement parks, guns, rockets, rocket powered surfboards, clothes, and just about everything else you can possible imagine. There are also a couple of sites (Gaming Open Market is one) that support the buying and selling of ingame money for real USD, and you can add to your account via PayPal if you'd like. It's quite good, and appeals to the coder and the 3D person in me. It's all 3D, like a big MMORPG, but more open.... of course, there's an MMORPG within the game, and various other things as well. Check out the website... It had me intrigued, and I signed on for a 3 month premium membership (about $20) and I'm quite pleased with all of it.

Kingdom of loathing. It's kind of like what CB would be if all of the FORS were implemented, only slightly less retarded, more popular, and very laggy.

It might run nicer now than it did last time I played it.

www.popcapgames.com offers lots of VERY cool java games, probably not what your looking for, but still they are sweet sweet free games.

www.bootleggers.us is a game about being a mobster in the 20's, I think it's cool.

www.imperialconflict.com is tick based, team based space combat and kingdom managment, I spent 3 years playing it, it was worth it, but i had to get away.

www.ferion.com one of the best games I've ever played, free to play so far through the tech tree, after that it's 3.00 a round or 30 for life.
