Ok maybe I have missed something. I know money from rentals and auctions count towards the clans but what about money brought in from transfers using the FS/WTB forums? If not how will this affect forgers in the clans who get their money through transfers? If not was it designed this way to "encourage" people to use the auctions even more?

It would take about 60 seconds to test this. Why don't you give it a try and let us know?

It does not appear as though any "revenue" is gained for transactions that are conducted outside of auctions and/or rentals. I just got done selling an item for over 600k in the FS/WTB forums, and attempted to update my E-Clan stats, only to find that I still only have ~30k revenue for the last 24 hours. Is this really intentional?
*Note* I can see how this could be done on purpose, as it would be a very easy system to abuse. One could just get somebody to xfer money back and forth between two individuals to boost their clan standings.
"the only bonus to being in a good eclan vs a sucky one is people will be more likely to take business to you. --Jonathan, January 5 2005 11:25 PM EST" So, if revenue is only made through auctions/rentals, why would anyone be inclined to go with the auction of one clan member over another? How many people actually care who they are purchasing an auction item from!?

This does bring dj's question to my mind as well. What about the forgers? Won't somebody think of the poor forgers?

All right, for the forgers then. :)
