Ok here we go I think it would be a cool fix IF ....under standard opponents the higher/lower would be I guess a drop down bar like where you could chose to jump higher by like 1k, 5k, 10k instead of clickin higher 10 times & the opponents are only a little higher than when you started

Try this: go to Stats->Characters->Standings and browse through Highest Scores (or Most Powerful if you're that way inclined). Find someone at whatever level you desire, fight them, and voila! Your fight list is where you wanted it.

I've had an idea similar to that of Bmagnety: there already exists a button to specify an opponent, so I imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to implement a "specify PR" (or score) button. For example, I click the button, enter 30,000 and my fight list fills up with the 25 (or whatever) people with PR/score closest to 30,000.

It's essentially an automated version of salt3d's suggestion. Oh, and by the way, thanks! That method had never occurred to me before.
