He transferred the cash from his bank account and it hasn't made it to Paypal yet.
It usually takes 3 days to clear.
but i thought the link said that it was an instant thing.

It is an instant thing if you have the money in Paypal already.
You transferred cash from a bank account that has to clear Paypal before it is credited to Jonathan.
