But it has come to my attention that I now have 8 Mentees, the next people to me have 6, then theres a ton of people on the list that have 2 or less. And I keep getting more. Are they being assigned randomly? And I'm just lucky as hell?

... ok Jon, let me rephrase this. I can do it, I signed up for it and all. I was pointing out a flaw in the system, explain how I would have 8 and more than half the others have 2 or less?

In fact I have attempted to contact all but 2 of the Mentees, and those 2 did not make it into the chat. So I would have you know I have been attempting my job even though I was getting more than every other Mentor... this is quite unjust what you have pulled Jonathan, and you know it as well.

Dest, his point is that you are too inexperienced to be a mentor if you didn't know that mentees are assigned based on which mentors are in chat. If you are constantly in chat, you will get lots of mentees.

If you'd read the mentor instructions, you'd know that CB contacts students on your behalf -- it "forges" a chatmail for you.

I already knew that from the message you get in chat, that says that it forged a chatmail from me. But I felt the need to contact them myself.
