Sharing IP. (in Public Record)

Since there has been a few forums about multiing, would like to let people know that i'm not a multi, that me and my brother play. we both enjoy playing this game, and would like to continue playing. we have done nothin to gain a unfair advantage. I'd just like know if this is okay for us to share our ip?

Yes, sharing IP is ok and there are many precedents where people in the same house have played the game.

However, that being said, please help to keep yourself and your brother above suspicion by keeping transactions between both accounts very clear and unambiguous.

G Beee, what would be an example of a questionable transaction between 2 brothers? If one bro wanted to give a gift of 500k and a katana to his bro, would that be objectionable?

Unfortunately that kind of transaction would be questionable. However, the full admins have many methods of tracking down multis and IP alone or questionable transfers are only the most simple of methods that starts the alarm bells ringing.
The point I am trying to get across is that it's better to be safe than sorry. Lots of folks will cry "multi" if they see the transaction you've given as an example happen.

Where do you draw the line ?
Well, that's for the full admins to decide.

Fair enough. After I posed that question I thought of a definite exploit between say 2 brothers. 2 accounts and one set of uber items. Transferring items back and forth to level up the 2 accounts characters would definitely be objectionable.

But if someone wanted to give an item permanently to a family member, I suppose the safest thing to do would be to post it and ask for any objections by admins and if none then do it. I don't see anything wrong in gift giving among friends or family, but certainly it's the IP sharing that always raises suspition.
