Got a new website that needs testers (in Off-topic)

Hi,

I made a new website. If you are going to help test, don't make lame or fictitious stuff up please. Also, keep it PG It's purpose is to provide cheap books for students. Yeah, I know it won't make much money. I plan on promoting it at Cal Poly and a few other colleges. Basically, instead of only getting 10 bucks back for a book you can get much more. Also, the medical books here are 400 dollars. So, students don't sell them back because they only get 40$. This system worked real well using plain ole email for a while. Now, I decided to be like Emeril and kick it up a notch. Help a guy out by checking it for bugs before it goes live. Thanks.

1. Text in the drop down list boxes of Post New Products are quite small. Don't know if that is a result of screen resolution.
2. Also, in the same page, for "Who will pay Shipping Cost:", the buyer is in small caps while the seller is in large caps, inconsistent.
3. Duration(in days): => space in between needed, and the "in days" is much smaller than the rest of the text.

There doesn't seem to be a logo under the advertise page.

Cool site max, did you make all that yourself? Very snazzy and professional looking.

CB2 Leather Armor auction going on? That doesn't sound like a book to me. :P

Other than that, the site looks pretty good. ^.^

Haven't had time to really look over all of it yet, but what I've seen looks nice. I'll try to be more thorough later. A few things that stick out at the moment are:

The green font color is hard to see against the blue background of All Categories

Trying to access the Terms and conditions link from the sign-up page yields this: The requested URL /static_pages/terms.htm was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

On the same page Australia is listed after Zimbabwe in the drop down menu

On the same page in the left-hand columns, "City, State(or Region)" needs a space between state and the parenthesis. It would look better as "City, State (or Region)" Also, "Terms And Conditions" might look better without the "And" capatalized. "Terms and Conditions". Pretty much a judgement call there.

On the legal page "guarantee" is misspelled. you have it as "gaurantee"

All webpage tests should start with a visit to validator.w3.org ;)

Verifex, I didn't write that engine. I just modified it. Since the auctions are free I was hoping someone would test it out and buy something from someone. I have yet to see it work. Since, buying and selling are currently free I wouldn't receive anything. If for some reason I did I would simply return it with the transaction fee. Anyone feeling like trying it out? Oh, yeah and I did put a shameless CB2 plug on it!

/me stares at over 100 validator output changes needed

Yay! I suddenly have people using the auction system! If you wanna check it out please do. :)

I still have to add an ISBN field and Author field but...wow this is cool =D
