Welcome to Carnage Blender. As your first tip, I suggest that you go to Community which is under Tools menu on the left. There is a section there for guides to new players. Suggest that you read those. Happy CB-ing.

A couple tips:

1, Stick to 1 minion and keep your HP/ST/DX even, stay away from spells for a while and keep it simple ;)

2, Weapons, the higher the first number the better (for a newb anyway).

3, Armor isn't important yet, every 1 AC blocks about .21% of damage ;)

4, This would be a good place to spend your money.

5, Try and borrow a Tattoo of Jigorokano (ToJ) from someone, don't let them make you pay to borrow it either ;) you using your BA on it helps them too.

Hope that helps.
Welcome to CB :)

Make friends. Talk with people and chat. Everyone here is really really friendly. If they aren't they aren't they get kicked out pretty fast. I mean if they're abusive that is, not just quiet.

I enjoy the Tank/Mage combo myself. 1 tank, focusing purely on HP, DX, & STR only with a ranged and melee weapon equipped, as well as a mage focused prelu on HP and MM or FB, whichever suits your fancy.
