Sometimes contests and FS/WTB threads have no replies. I have run a few myself. I never know if my thread name is not attractive, or my idea in the thread is dumb.
I suggest that by knowing how many people have viewed the threads as well as replied, one may know how popular the sale or contest is.
(The higher the view to post ratio, the higher the popularity.)
Hopefully, this will not be added as a FORS.
