ok i have a question often times when i attack with my mage who uses magic missile i end up hitting myself. Does he need dexterity to prevent him from hitting himself, or is it some kind of enemy spell and if so how do i prevent it
Magic Missile, Fireball, Cone of Cold and Decay will all hit you for some damage if your opponent has Antimagic Field. Best way to prevent it? Get a bigger Magic Missile. ;)

if your opponent casts Anti-Magic Field, it bounces some of the damage back to you.
