It would be nice if we could have proper paragraphs in chat mails instead of this condensed-into-one-giant-paragraph-chat-mail that can be annoying to read. This may not be possible with the current coding, but it would be a nice change to "see".
Entirely impossible; linebreak is the end-of-message token in the chat protocol.
Really if you're running into this problem you need to take it to email or AIM. Chatmail isn't meant to replace these.
