I call it a pre-known bug because it exists in CB1 as well.
In IE, when you go to the combo box for your characters, you can cause your sidebar to go to pure white screen.
While your on your main character:
Select a secondary character.
Now, while your switching to that character, click the combo box for switching, and highlight your main character.
But Don't Select It.
And Ta Da! you should now see the sidebar in it's purest form. Pure White.
Note for those who will say "Switch to Firefox/[Insert Browser name here]"
- Family Computer. Unable to.
Note for those who will say "Just right click, refresh"
- It refreshes the whole window, not just the sidebar. and you can't see the 'refresh' link that jon handily provides.
Doctor, it hurts when I bang my head against the brick wall.
rofl. Thank you for making my night humorous Jon :-P
I'm just saying.....
If it's broke in CB1, and It's broke in CB2, When CB3 comes, will it be broke there, or will you have gotten around to fixing it by then?
but.. how often do you actually have that happen accidentally? and how big an issue is it to just refresh the screen?

its not a bug, you are refreshing the page before it can load the style.
Stop doing it and it won't happen anymore....

hmm I get a different error then, its not "pure white", its a slight shade of blue, hey doc, why does my head hurt?
actually i did have it happen quite a few times in CB1, before i figured out how it was happening.
FYI:
This was more of a "If you do this, this will happen, so don't worry", then a "Omw, there's a bug in this game that hasn't been fixed yet"
ha. ha. see me laugh at your joke bartjan.
Mecca, you obviously don't understand top-flight programming. By CB3, it'll be a feature. :)

Well, it actually is not a joke.
Both your browser and CB are really doing their job as they are supposed to do. It's some other part of the system that is operating outside of the specs.
Any combination of web browser and web page would fail if the web browser is interrupted before it can complete rendering the page.
