Let´s say you make a bid for an item and moments later you decide to buy now because you don´t want to take risks.
Thats when you realize you can´t do it because the money from your own bid can´t be used in buy now!
Is there any way to help us, drifters?
(unless you´re the person responsible for changes don´t post to tell me i should have more money or think more. Ok you can, but its so predictable. =) )

This could only apply to the latest bidder being able to take buy now. Otherwise people could just cancel bids as and when they feel like it.
I'd go for a change like this. I've put in a bid for an item on many occasions when I didn't have enough money for the buy-now. If afterwards when I've made some more money I could combine my last bid with that to take the buy now it would be very good indeed!

I can think of several ways in which this could be abused, however, if it were only allowed on bids with a Buy Now, it might be OK.
Consider the case where there is no Buy Now: a person could place a huge bid to discourage others from bidding, then in the last 10 minutes, retract the bid and place a min bid.
I think what Coss is saying is that the money taken as collateral for the bid should be applied to a higher bid or a buy now bid. In that case, it's a good idea.

Take out a very short term loan for the price of the buy now, and then pay it back immediately. This would be your best bet, as it doesn't seem like a change that is integral to the game.
Nah, I like having stupidity taxes in the game :)
Just think about it for a minute before you bid.

I thank you for the replies and i may use the idea of a loan. And please stop thinking i want to retract my bid for gods sake! For the last time: the money from YOUR last bid would be transferable to the BUY NOW, not to your pocket.
