If I were to spend a long time balancing my single tank so that his bloodlust was exactly 1/4 of his strength and I then equip an enforcer's crossbow, would the additional strength that I gain from it in the battle ruin all my careful balancings that I had made? i.e. would the extra strength lower the bloodlust's effect?

You gain strength from an Exbow ? That's news to me .. I thought it only drains strength, and does not grant strength (drained or otherwise) to the shooter ..
