Honestly #2 doesn't seem so bad to me. I've got 3 points:
#1: I don't see a lock on the cage.
#2: It might not be meant for them. It could be an animal cage, but be all they had for the women to sit in, throw a couple of boxes in there, BOOM! Back seat for a tractor. Go guy for making sure the ladies had a seat.
#3: Well, you don't want them to fall off do you? What if they are epolectic or something? They need bars to home them on. Of course you'd stop if they had a seazure, but seazure + falling off worse than seazure.
