Find transactions (in General)

I need to find an old transaction I did. What do I use for my user ID for the search in the transaction log? My character or username do not work and I can't find an ID anywhere.

If I understand what you need.
Click HERE and then select item tracking Transfers at the bottom of the screen. On the drop down Restrict to interval: select ALL and you will see all your character transfers dating back to the beginning of February.

If you're using windows the use Ctrl F to search for a specific word or phrase from the xfr log.

Unfortunately, I changed my name from miteke to [TBT]miteke and the only transactions that show are those since the name change.

When I try to search by miteke it says

Looks like you're having trouble with the allowed search format. Remember, you can search by user ID (not NAME).

So how do I determine the ID?

You click on one of the many links others have provided in this thread. You could also click on yoru own username in this thread, and then go to transfers.

Don't forget to search on a large enough time period. At most this is about 1 month.

Nevermind. The name change propagated - I just forgot to set the date range filter.

But how the heck did you find out what my ID was?

Your ID is shown on many places on this site. For example mouse over on your own name on these pages...

Click on your own name in your post, to go to your user site, where you'll see a link to "Transfers". We both just copied and pasted that link into this thread. Just click that link to search for any transfers to/from your user id.
