I have a question (in General)

Smashure April 12 2005 8:32 AM EDT

I'm being deployed in July to Tallil Iraq for 6 months and I was wondering if there is a way to not have my account deleted after 20 days of innactivity. If not should I start selling my stuff now?

sssimmo April 12 2005 8:39 AM EDT

I dont think you can be deleted if you are a supporter

sssimmo April 12 2005 8:42 AM EDT

correct me if i am wrong anyone

You are correct, sssimmo. A supporter's account will not be deleted.

Have fun in Iraq. Send pictures. :p

Actually, I think you can play from Iraq. I've read several articles where they talk about internet access for the troops. Might be just email, but you never know.

My father is going over to Kosovo in August and he has been told there is going to be WiFi access at the base he will be stationed at so he's buying himself a laptop with wireless capabilities.

It's also behind the biggest firewall you will ever see attached to net access.

Wasn't Dirty Hippy stationed in Iraq too, until a few weeks ago?
I'm pretty sure he could get online ... :)

I have an extra gmail invite if you don't already have an account. I've heard that gmail is one of the more reliable methods to email from that area.

Chatmail me if you're interested.

Heh, an extra gmail invite. Is there such a thing anymore? It tells me I've got 50 invites left every time I log on. I can't find anyone who wants one that doesn't have one.
