Wouldn't it make the game more interesting with tattoos that instead of training in a direct damage spell , instead train in a enchanment of either offense or defense? Flame me or what not, but I'm just putting out an idea to help out CB2. Please comment.

I did a post a couple of weeks ago about new tattoo types - and was reminded by someone that the ToE and ToA are pretty much in effect 'enchanter tattoos' - the ToE basically equating to AS, and the ToA to Giant Strength and Haste.
So we already have two!

Yes your right, but what about having it effect all your characters. Of course not as strong as it is just on one character. Maybe just make the ToE and ToA be the same as it is on one minion, but if there is more then one minion it has a reduced effect but effects all of the minions?

If you have multi-minion teams then certain effects such as AS and Haste you can achieve across the team by training them. Where an AMF tattoo (for example) might be of most use would be on a single minion so that you could concentrate XP into other stats. The ability to have two offensive enchantments on a single minion rather than just one would be good.
I think there are a lot of potential for new skills/spells that are only connected to tattoos - in the way endurance has been introduced.

ToA is like Dex + Str, not haste and giant strength and ToE is like AC, nothing like AS....

Haste has the effect of upping your dex, giant strength - ST; and the ToE, like AC is effectively invisible HP. No, they are not exactly the same but the effect is equivalent.

Well, you are wrong on both counts :
Which is more likely,
ToA is like Haste and Giant Strength except :
*It only casts on 1 minion
*It dosent actually cast so isnt effected by DM
*Its not a spell so isnt counted when looking and magic bonuses unlike haste and GS, so it can not be increased (barring naming).
ToA is like training Dex and Str except :
*The levels are not effected by armour penalties / bonuses.
As for AC / Endurance being like Invisible hps, well, no, they are not, not in the slightest... If you have ever used GA, VA, Decay etc.. Then you will understand why it isnt.

I don't disagree with your comments at all Myth - except that the final effects ARE equivalent. There are differences - everything you've listed - but all damage reduction - endurance, AC etc etc - is doing essentially is increasing how long your HP lasts - which is what I meant by invisible HP.
The ToA is obviously not an enchantment - CB2 's version of an Exo-skeleton - but it does create 'fake' tanks in a similar way to the haste and GS.
Endurance is in a class of it's own though. I'm waiting for other items that utilise it's qualities or the ability to train it - though if that day comes I suspect it will be hand in hand with a nerf.
And neither AS nor the ToE nor AS block decay last time I checked - that's the area that AMF holds the monoply on isn't it?

LOL, you know you've been playing too much CB when you start arguing about how the game works in a thread. Heh. I'm going to the pub. =)

I'm with Myth, it's been bothering me for too long the comparisons between the ToE and "Invisible HP". It's just not the same.
