Hey they have them in real life.. (in General)

Why not have the tattoo artist sell temporary tattoos? Maybe you can buy them once a day and they only last for a couple hours or only a hour maybe.

To make things easier (complicated?), the temporary tattoo would replace the tattoo you have on your current char, but would be exactly same lvl, or possibly much less, I dunno. And it would last for a short period of time. But it would let us crazy CB'ers experiment with tattoos, without losing lots of tat lvls or spending tons of money. It could cost maybe 50k, and would be much more likely to get more takers then the current 200k & 5% deal.

Same rules as now would apply to the temporary tattoo as well. You can change it to any other tattoo, but a non-supporter tat cannot become a supporter tat. And regular and lesser tats stay regular and lesser.

Not sure if it is a good idea, but sure made me chuckle :)

Nice. This made me laugh, but really isn't a terrible idea. Jon probably won't jump, though. :<

This is actually a really neat idea. It would be like tattoo renting, but done in a manner that isn't easily abused. I'd definitely like the ability try try out different tats without suffering horrible penalties.

Very intriguing idea. It has my support (not that that really matters since Jon, the overlord, has final say in anything and everything).

I was recently thinking along these lines about having *cheap* rares... Or like those cheap knock-offs you get down the market, you know those 'genuine fakes'...

200k each, 10% chance theres nothing wrong with the item 10% chance it doesn't work. Rest of the time the rare 'effect' would last for a number of hours/days/weeks. A bit like the rentals system but with a bit more chance thrown in for good measure.

It could also act as a great cash-sink to prevent inflation. For every 2 mil put in only 1 rare is good, the rest are good for some time and very rarely (& unluckily) some are not good at all.

What do yall think?

Something along these lines would be very helpful.

Maybe have a grace period for newbs too so they can chop and change while getting wise to the game.
