lol... it's been a while since someone has requested CBers to do his/her homework.

J. Edgar Hoover born in 1904, was the son of a mill worker. His father was killed in WWI and he was raised primarily by his mother and aunt. Following his graduation from Cornell, he joined the NYC police department and eventually became the comissioner. He was chosen by President Truman to head the newly formed FBI following the end of WWII. The FBI was founded largely out of fears of communist infiltration as the cold war kicked off.

Including or excluding the ladies' lingerie stuff?

J. Edgar Hoover flew battleships during WWV. One day he smoked too much methamphetamines with some Japanese pilots and started looking out his window for police and commies spying on him. This gave him the great idea to form an agency that would actually spy on its own country as he didn't want to learn foreign languages. And thus, the FBI was born.
