no tat char (in General)

So with tats being factored into pr now, and soon NW factored into PR (supposedly) what do you think about the viability of a tatless character? With pr and mpr being equal, he'll be fighting people whose PR is overinflated by their tattoos. Well?

As long as someone is content to have a lower score then people who play a lot less, they could make a go of it, at least for a while. Develop a strat for a tattoo to fill the gap later, and it could be good. I mean, you would eventually need a tattoo, unless you really don't care about never being a high scorer (relatively speaking).

I read the other day that a tattoos added PR is 0.7 of its real PR so its a potential benefit to have a tattoo.
Not sure if its true, does someone know?

Not sure how you work out a tattoo's PR, but mine is adding about 40% of it's level to my PR.

MPR: 195,722
PR with Tattoo: 242,160

Level of Tattoo: 115,020.

I've also assumed that although mt tattoo is named, the 4% level increase is a bonus, and not counted towards my PR.
