CB is like the Stock Market (in General)

CB is like the stock market. Stocks go up and own, CB items go up and down. Buy low, sell high. Sometimes a company goes broke and you lose--like when items get removed from the game. Prices change due to speculation of what's to come--like the CBFs lately. It may be more fun to play the game this way than to try to a manage a character in a sea of change. Just a thought. Are we in a recession now? Not a good time to sell, then, but a good time to buy. Are you a contrarian? Then buy up all those unwanted items now, because they may just get a big boost later.

Recession? A synonym for Depression?

But yes, CB is a market, you have goods and services and the cash flow. Demand goes up, prices go up, supply goes up, prices drop. That's what a year of HS Economics tought me. Thanks goodness I dropped it. :)

One of the nice things about getting several unsolicited CMs (to which i always politely respond) from people wanting to buy/sell/trade/loan is that I get pretty good idea about the economy. The state of our economy is good.

See how many people are making bids on the HoEs? Sales of armor is a bit down because people are reassessing their strategies and and also saving up for the HoE. Sellers are also reassessing the value of armor. Weapons are selling for an all time high, even with the pending NW adjustment. People are also eating up loans to buy items, which is another good indicator. I think we're doing okay, for now.
