Better than Fahrenheit 9/11 (in Off-topic)

This little BBC miniseries is very interesting. You can actually watch each episode on that site or read it as a transcript.

Pretty interesting stuff, but it is a rather long documentary (3 hours).

Fahrenheit 9/11 is a complete and utter joke,

Watching grass grow is better than that damned movie.

man that movie was funny.

Moore is an opinionated bigot that skews fact into opinion better than a woman ever could. Fahrenheit 9/11 was funny, and it had some fact, but was hardly an accurate, journalistic report of anything. If I'm looking for that kind of humor, I'll go to jibjab.com and download something shorter and better.

The BBC link, however, is a beautiful investigation into the reality of worldwide terrorism and is a must-read for anybody interested in their personal freedoms and the freedoms of their descendants. I urge anybody and everybody interested in the world future to give this one a second look.
Thanks, Verifex! It's a small relief to know that there's at least one objective journalist left in the world.

"Moore is an opinionated bigot that skews fact into opinion better than a woman ever could"

You pretty much caused me to stop reading at "skews fact into opinion better than a woman ever could".

chernobyl, I love how in the first few lines you managed to be both sexist AND obnoxious!

I'm glad no one who was against Moore brought up that he's fat. I hate how a lot of anti-Moore people are so stuck on that.

ahem...Anne Coultier...Ahem

I think he's getting fatter. Anyone notice?

[EG] Almuric May 19 2005 8:27 AM EDT

I noticed that the fat guy on 'Lost' is getting fatter. The character is stranded on a desert island - how's he gaining weight? The actor is probably making some money and eating lots of buffets, but I wonder what we're supposed to think is the cause for the weight gain? Fruits and fish are available in such abundance that he's gaining weight despite the conditions?

Yeah, I hijacked your thread. Stupid Michael Moore rants are stupid. So I made your thread better. OK?

Random Fact

The fat guy from lost makes a cameo on Curb Your Enthusiasm as a drug dealer. =)
