Lesser Tattoos vs Full Tattoos (in General)

Since NW and tats are now integrated into PR are lesser tattoos really all that worse than full tattoos?

All the NW and tat integration means is: "make what you have count". If you have a tattoo that is integral to your team and allows you to excel, then why settle for one that grows more slowly? The name of the game is still to be able to beat more and more people, no?

If the name of your game is simply to have a good score/PR ration, then yeah...lesser tattoo would be the same as a normal one, and both would be the same as none at all.

I personally think I may prefer LToA's to full ToA's because you can get the extra to_hit with much less of a PR commitment, whereas the DX/ST granted won't measure up in the long run to ST/DX trained and then multiplied by armour bonuses. I've never tried it out empirically though.
