Q: cache and IE pages, how do they work ? (in Off-topic)

OK, so this has had me wondering for a while now - it's time to look the computer luddite that I obviously am and ask the question...

After finishing my session on CB1 the next time I visit I go to a cached page showing the same info that I last left. e.g. no BA, same forum threads etc. Simple refresh and it's updated.

The same is not the case for CB2. When I finish my session and then revisit the loaded page is current with latest BA info etc. No refresh required.

Just wondering why, and what's the difference. Is it local settings on my PC, or something fundamentally different between the two CB's ?

I use IE v6, o/s winXP sp2

I would assume CB2 has a no-cache meta tag and CB1 does not.

CB2 uses frames and IE will refresh frames with more reliability. CB1 doesn't.
