Drawing Skills Contest (in Contests)

I have a silly contest I would like to try.

An easy contest, draw me a picture =P

Put the picture online or in a way where anyone who looks at the post can see it. I'll pick my favorite and send the prize to them.

First place: A Katana [74x10] (+9) 118,121
Second place: 100K Cb2
Third place: 10 Explosive Shots [10x4] (+4)

Super cool awesome picture that I think rules beyond comprehendible imagination: A Morgul-Hammer [84x9] (+5) 75,153

Lol, you just can't mean this! This afternoon, I was drawing a flaming character with a cloak of the balrog flame on it, when I have passed my schooltests I will draw it in detail.

I'm dead serious. So dead serious I need to heal myself...stupid 38 CB2 =P

i have two pictures already drawn, can i submit two? lol. One is of a Fireball holding Mage, the other is an army Soldier, base on Tim O'Brien's "The Things they Carried"

Yes, you may send multiple pictures but please be curtious about the size. I don't want to scroll for 1/2 an hour to see one picture!

Nice drawing smallpaul although constructive criticism would be that the only problem is the FB wielding hand, I propose it should actually be up horizontol as while it is down that way it does look slightly on the amateur side, but the rest is top-notch :)

Does the picture have to be hand drawn, or can it be done in a graphics program such as illustrator/photoshop?

annuminas, that's way too many pictures on a single page. I have a very high speed connection, and it still took a long time to load. It would probably be better to have thumbnails of your pics, or have them separated over several pages.

That said, they are very good pictures.

Spaceman, till when will this contest run, because I have some time this weekend, I dunno whether it's still owkee then.

That is a ton of nice pictures, it'd be nice if you made a special "CB pic" for the contest ;)

I'm in also, I can't wait to get my hands on those EXPLOSIVE SHOTS! Well to post a picture, first you need to upload it to a server, such as imageshack.us.

From there imageshack provides you will all the neccessary HTML code you need to post it. Or if you know the URL of the image, the HTML for it is.

This is my first submission, it's done in illustrator cs.

Copies are fine as long as no tracing was done.

I did this picture awhile back, it actually symbolized my fight to thwart my X-g/f with the help of my friends providing moral support.

But looking at it now, it could very well be a mage and 3 chanters.

The giant glass of orange juice in the backround was from the Denny's mat I drew it on. I don't draw, I didn't mean for this to end up a picture, I just started doodling what I was seeing while listening to the song, and I got this.

Thats an ace pic u got there Ody, a lot of effort went into it obviously ;)

First off, I enjoyed many of the drawings. I hope to do this again soon and hope to get more artists! I was very surprised I had no Microsoft Paint pictures =P

1st: Odysseus because he was the only one to actually draw a pic for the contest!
1st: SilientButDeadly also recieved first because his picture rocked and was done for this contest.
2nd: annuminas because there were a lot of pictures and many well done
3rd: undertow because the story behind the picture was well worth it =P

I want to thank all the effort. Sorry I don't have anymore rares for the other contestants. I think they deserve something so maybe I'll conjure up some extra K.
