maybe someone wanted to loan it to him for longer than 2 weeks, but there is no way to do that besides rentals...thats why

Unless it was a mistake. Instead of putting $5000/day for 14 days, he put $5000/14 days for 1 day. Very generous. :)
I remember seeing this sort of thing on CB1. Not terribly uncommon, but here it may be more common since those large weapons are have become harder to sell.

if someone wants something to be forged for 2 weeks, and is too stingy to pay 2 x transfer fee of 1 week loan, thus a coordinated rental for 2 weeks at the lowest price :)
