Yet another off the wall idea just in time for change month (in General)

Ok this is something that i have thought about for a while (even before the VB came out, believe it or not)

make slayer ammo halve the AC, Prot, Endurance of the target (for that hit only same as the VB)

This would make slayers viable for more than just defensive ammo and, before anyone starts with the "an ELB archer wanting more power!" rant, this would be particularly effective on E/Axbows since they target tanks first (who generally have the the highest AC of any minion except pure walls)

As the title says just another off the wall idea that i thought i would put out there just before change month got up and going, flame if you wish ;-)

Interesting idea. Perhaps call it "piercing" ammo, rather than change the slayers? And make them do less base damage to keep things more balanced.

I too think it should actually be a third type of ammo, and I think making it rare would balance it enough.

How different is it to have a base 15 damage on a slayer and a base 10 (for example) on a piercing ammo that gives 50% more damage like a VB? Seems like the same base damage to me. Now seekers with that property would be great - target ToE mages and deal with their endurance. Or perhaps for tank ammo instead of piercing, something that targets a ToA with a higher PTH given the ToA's dex and evasion bonuses.

I like it, but I think it should only be in bolt form. I could imagine a Elven bow doing too much damage. it would stop the xbow whiners too.

Most TOE mages characters are single minions, so why should you need that on seeker ammo?
