Battle Cries! (in General)

You fixed Battle Cries! Thanks, Jon. My tank finally has a voice.

ummm, my battle cries ALWAYS worked, you are just seeing things, and are battle cries that important?

Never mind. It was a fluke. Saw it once and thought it had been fixed. Back to what you were doing. Nothing to see.

What's going on? My battle cries show up just fine...

My mage always cries his battle cries. My tank never does. Or, well, he did once, just a little while ago. Computers being deterministic machines, I figured it was fixed. I posted... prematurely. Chalk it up to giddy excitement.

There was a post about a month or two ago about this. Jon lamented that no-one could ever provide him with repeatable failures. Spydah and I (and a couple of others, I believe), gave him tales of such repeatability. Since he has said no more on the subject, I assumed he'd been assiduously working on the problem. This being a change month... well, I overreacted. Sorry for the false alarm.

I think I may see what causes the problem with these cries...

It seems like everyone who's had problems with them has VA, and therefore gets the 'draws strength from his weapon' message instead of a battle cry. What do you guys think?

no karmic...it just has never worked with a tank. thats all.

it always worked with mages though...maybe jon is championing mages? :P

My tank battle cries still do not work, so umm yeah. Maybe they just don't do battle cries for ranged kills?

Well, I thought I'd test this myself (see my ultra imaginative battle cries below), and for me, the only time my tank had a battle cry was when he missed.

Looking closer, my mage also gave a battle cry, yet there was only one opponent minion. Somehow my mage killed Shiraha, then was himself killed, then my tank missed and gave a battle cry?
