Server Time off? (in General)

I synchronize my computer clock with NIST.gov and carnageblender always seems to be a few minutes off. Anyone else notice this?

well, either cb time is slower or my pc time is slower, casue it keeps moving ba refresh time.

off to me, my comp clock , the min is always sanchronized(sp?) when its 9 here is 10 server, and its 9:06 here now so maybe it will be 10:06 server.

The server uses the NTP protocol to synchronize time. NTP is a very accurate way of getting the correct time. As far as I can tell the server has the correct time, or else my radio controlled clock is also wrong.

However, NTP only works as advertised if it uses more than 1 time source (preferably 3+), so it can ignore false tickers. Jon, maybe add a few 'us.pool.ntp.org' servers in addition to the 1 that's now listed?
