More News From the Protection Leader (Protection: 121,048 (25)) (in General)

someone[onabreak] July 11 2005 11:47 AM EDT

I just hit level 25 on my Protection. Level 26 could be anywhere from 140,000 to 150,000 .... I'll keep you updated, as always.

I'm going to help you in your quest. I dont know how to tell you exactly what hits what without buying each xp at a time.. but I'll post what I get.

RareSumo [Lucid Dreams] July 12 2005 2:34 PM EDT

Remember, I'm just putting 1/10 or 1/4s until it goes up.. there's no real system to how I'm doing this, and these probably aren't the lowest for the particular amt of Protection, but they are levels that give you that much

Protection: 123,322 (25)
Protection: 149,381 (26)
Protection: 175,810 (27)
213,615 was still 27... then I think I did 1/3 b/c it was getting really long to get to 28...
Protection: 214,369 (28)
doing halfs at this pt.
Protection: 215,123 (28)

I'm at the 215,123 right now.. I do enjoy watching people doing stuff like this... watching people try to debug the system.. I guess if you were the protection leader, I am now. I've debugged and dethroned all in one post. Not too bad.

Very nice info, but it has nothing to do with "debugging." =)

What tool are you using to make those java charts?

{CB3}-HR22 July 14 2005 5:10 PM EDT

lol way to take somebody's spotlight

someone[onabreak] July 16 2005 3:33 PM EDT

The table and charts have been updated. I appreciate your numbers, Sumo. However, I still need a better number for 26. Yours is a bit too high. I'll fill it in once I reach it myself. In the meantime, I have a guess that it's around 145,000 ...

I also need better numbers for all the effect levels up to 15.

Oh, and since somebody asked, I am using MS Excel to make all of this.

someone[onabreak] July 16 2005 3:35 PM EDT

And in case it's not clear, when I say I need "better" numbers, I mean "lower" numbers. The best numbers for the graph are the lowest "Level" numbers that still get the same "Effect" number (the one in parentheses).

hope that will help you

Protection: 4,943 (7)

I think I may have gone over by a bit (I thought I had much further to go, as your graph says 6,360)

Hope this helps :)

OneSeven July 18 2005 4:00 PM EDT

Protection: 7,081 (8)

OneSeven July 20 2005 7:15 AM EDT

Just hit Protection: 9,402 (9)
But the number on your graph is already 'better' than this. I think that number must be pretty close, 'cause I was on (8) until 9,333.

someone[onabreak] July 26 2005 7:50 AM EDT

Good work, sir :) Chart and graph updated! Still need good numbers, for 13 especially, but all your work is appreciated. :)

The3Stooges July 26 2005 10:35 AM EDT

so if someone had (25) protection would that cut off 25% of damage taken?

[T]Vestax July 26 2005 10:36 AM EDT

That's kind of what were trying to figure out.

someone[onabreak] August 5 2005 4:59 PM EDT

I just hit 26.

Also, I'm still looking for better numbers for 13, 14, and 15.
