Non-PG ads (in General)

What is with Jon supporting all these "Non-PG" ads? First there is that online "pimping" experience, and now cyber scrub. Insinuating that we should buy a program to delete pornographic web history? Is this what CB is now appealing to, this is what the CB audience has become?
Well I'm petitioning, in hopes that maybe it will change.
i agree i think he should take things like that off im only 10 and i no theres also other minors who play some1 even told me they nos some1 who is 7 that plays i think john should take things like that off the site.
This has been brought up numerous times. Jon doesn't have much control over the adverts, IIRC. As for the content of the adverts, stop being oversensitive, you get more extreme material on television and all over the internet.

I'm not being oversensitive, but I'm not the one saying that because they may haven't seen pornography over the internet that it's ok to endues them here. It isn't the child's fault for viewing inappropriate material it is the one who shows it to them, CB is only responsible when it attracts children and then has banners that condone this sort of thing.
i particularly like the pamela anderson ad that comes up on CB1 ^^

Yah, but you being a mature adult (and, well nevermind). I have no problem with that (okay maybe I do, but not my choice) it's a problem of children seeing that, or anyone unstable enough.

What does cyberscrub have to do with non-pg ads ? And why are you even looking at the stupid ads?
I must say that this is quite a silly complaint.
AND you can turn them off by being a supporter :)

Oh, come on, that ad was very suggestive NSFY. First it had a presumably naked women and said "delete your webhistory, don't let others know where you've been. And what if your not a supporter? If Jon has the power to not have ads he certainly has the power to remove ads.
One of my few regrets about running a PG site is the occasional holier-than-thou turds who show up to bitch that I don't conform to whatever their loftiness is offended by this week.
Get over yourself.

ROFL, well said Jon. If you don't like banner ads, pay for supportership and turn them off. W00t!

It is for erasing internet history, not removing porn.
Just because porn might be in your history does not suggest we all are scouring image search on google for a good 'cyber scrub' in our free time.

And to add on to this, you should look up the definition to PG.
i am just wondering what the heck "endues them here" actually means? perhaps a little more time with dictionary.com would help you express yourself in a manner that others can understand.

I sense much ad hominem here.

Is he talking about the lady's head in the monitor ? How does he know she is naked ? I think she has a tube-top and some hip huggers on. And some kind of ring on her toe.

Don't know if all this has anything to do with it but most of the ads I'm getting today are blank.
