rewards and score (in General)

It seems to me that rewards are effected more now by the comparison of your score to your opponents, since I have people on my list who have similar score, but vastly different PR (mines much lower). Why are we being punished for having a high score??? What happened to the old if your PR is lower than the opponents score, YOU WIN!?

i wondered the same thing, i was getting flamed for not having anyone over my PR, i was simply putting peoeple in my fightlist who had much greater scores than my PR, but i keep getting sucky rewards...=/

There a max rewards you can get according to your MPR so if you are it increase by 1$ per 10K MPR.

My understanding on rewards is there a fix value for the PR of the opponent + score/PR delta. Also rewards get increase when you move to lower ba regen rate.

I just haven't figured out how exactly rewards are different here than CB1, it seems to me as thought cb1 was based on a comparison between opponents score and your PR, where here it seems to be based on your score vrs. theirs. I just dislike being penalized for being able to beat higher level chars, which is how I see this. Maybe Jon wants people to use general strats and fight only around similar PR level, but that again would be a strange change.

In a world where people unequip when they leave, I just feel a little stupid for having a char with more than double it's PR in score.

example fight:
him Guru: Score / PR / MPR: 415,829 / 375,564 / 205,587
me Fangorn: Score / PR / MPR: 420,762 / 155,122 / 100,862

I get about the same rewards as I do for chars with half the score/MPR/PR.

I just don't get it.
