Does anyone but me experience really bad lag on the CB chat window using Mozilla Firefox?
It's like I can barely chat there because of the delay, any quick fixes out there?

Better processor and more RAM. I've never had a problem with chat even on my PII @ 200MHz with 96MB of PC100 RAM.

With my 2.1mhz AMD Barton, and !gig of ram I don't think that's the problem, I will check into the new java though, that's probably the problem but I'm running what ever Windows XP ships.

What mrwuss meant to say was avoid the latest version of Java at all costs and get Java 1.4.2 since CB is proven to run just fine on it.

Well Vestax I just went to java.com and downloaded the newest version and everything started working..lol not sure what version it was but that was the easiest fix I think I've ever done!

yea i downloaded the newest one from java.com after i formatted my hard drive and it worked fine, too.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound so dire, I was just trying to say that verson 5.0 comes with some extra baggage and quite a few changes that you won't need to run CB chat or most other Java programs for that matter.
