FB friendly damage bug. Data support. (in General)

I broke the forums with my post and should post again, either learning tables in HTML or using another format to get my data across.

In case you don't see the bug, this is against the char "The Slayers".

Gourry Gabriev is a MgS tank with 125 AC and 16 prot. Lina Inverse is a FB mage. Look at the friendly damage of Gourry. He consistently takes about 3-4K friendly damage when I have 2 minions vs FB but about 20-30K damage when I have only 1 minion vs FB. This is consistent over many fights and not just a fluke (I did like 4 fights to make sure the data is valid).

I think the bug is with FB friendly damage calculator. From the training page, FB friendly damage is supposed to be 1/2 of FB. Except in the current form, it's more like 1/2 of FB and spread over the total minions (enermy minion plus friendly minion).

This may explains why FB teams are doing very well lately.

If you're talking about the ranged round, that's AMF damage, not 'Friendly Fire'.

So let me reiterates:

Friendly damage to friendly minions is only half damage level if there is only 1 enemy. If there are more than 1 enemy, the damage is like:

Damage to friendly minions with 1 enemy standing:
(1/2 FB level )

Damage to friendly minions with 2 enemy standing:
(1/2 FB level) / 2

This will explain why Gourry only takes 3-4K FB damage when I have 2 minions and 20-30K damage when I have only 1 minion. The different is like 20K, which is about 7-9 time damage done to friendly minions.

If Jon is saying this is the way he intents to have FB friendly damage, it is so backward. Why do my enemy FB damage to enemy minions is being reduced in melee when I have more of my minions standing in melee against FB than in the case if I have only 1 minion?

I'm having a really hard time trying to follow you. The way you compose your sentences is hard to understand. Perhaps rewrite it using a simple structure?

BTW, if any of you don't see the suspision, follow the friendly damage to Gourry and you will see it.

I can't explain why friendly damage to Gourry increased from 3K to 20K. The only thing that changed was that one of my minion died. But why it would make a different to friendly damage, I don't know.

Gourry is getting a 33% bonus from a level 530k+ ToE and has +30 on his MgS, next to the AC and Protection.

This reduces all magic damage quite a bit, incoming or backlash.

What he's trying to say is in the round that Old Dwarf died, the backlash damage to Gourry jumped from around 4k to around... 18k? It jumped a lot. I'm not hitting the back button to figure out exactly how much.

The friendly fire is a percentage of the damage you deal.

You dealt more damage overall once Old Dwarf was dead, so your Friend Fire went up as well.

You explain it right, Undertow. Thank for clearing it up for me. I was under impression that FB friendly damage is 1/2 of the actual FB level, not FB damage to enemy.

I guess I was wrong.

yea, notice the dmg increased the round after the one minion died that he was also hitting with FB.
