Animated GIFs as character pics. (in General)

They aren't allowed. I assume because of bandwidth limitations, but are these limitations still viable?

Just a thought, I've got an animated GIF I want to use.

Animated pics are already allowed for characters, so long as they are small enough. The server will not convert them to a smaller byte size for you though and animated GIFs are much larger then normal pics. I do believe that player pics can not be animated however, which is good since it would only distract me as I try to read posts.

If your having problems uploading Undertow, then you might need to get a program to downsize the pic on your own and then try again.
