A pirate walks into a bar, the pirate was a seasoned pirate. He had a pegleg, a hooked hand, and an eye-patch.
Wow, said the bartender, this guy must have a story.
The pirate sat down "Can I get me a drink for my weary body?"
"Sure", said the bartender "In fact, it's on the house."
The bartender figured that if he loosened the guy up a bit, he could get his stories.
So after the pirate had had a few drinks, the bartender asks him, "Hey, how'd ah.. how'd ya get that peg-leg?"
"Well", the pirate said, "I was a young lad, and it was my first voyage. I was out at see when a wicked strom came up. I was tossed off deck like some land lubber."
"Really, and... what... a wave cut it off? :P?"
"Har har har, no laddy. There was a shark in them waters. Just before I could be rescued, that shark bit off me leg."
"Ahhhhh..."
So, the bartender thought that was pretty interesting, and wanted to hear more. More free drinks for the pirate.
"So, how about that hand? How'd you get that hook?"
"Well we were out at sea, and we were attacked by other pirates. The boarded us and the fighting was all over the deck. I was pushed over the rail and into the water... again. I found myself face to face with that same shark! Well I pulled out me dagger, and I had at 'em! I killed him, I did. But not before he got me hand."
"Wow!!! That's a great story. So... wow."
More drinks, more drinks!
"So... what about the eye-patch???"
"Well, it was after I bought me first and only parrot. I sat him up on me shoulder, and fed him crackers. Then one day, he pooed in me eye!"
"Wow, that stinks... but that made you lose your eye?"
"Well... no... but it was the first day with me hook you see."
