August 23: CB Tourny (in Contests)

I'm just here to try this, if you miss the old CB1 tournies then post here. What I am going to do is take a head count of people intersted if it's enough I'll make rules like at August 25. 12:00 p.m. the tourny begins you may then create your character. NUBs are not allowed if need a character with no NUB contact me and I will send you one. The prize, since it is only the first tourny and we are testing the waters will be 100k.

I also, need 2 others who can help run it. They can't participate this time unfortunately. Also, we my begin charging prize money like 50k or something.

Also, if all goes well this won't be as cheesy as this one, there will be tables and boldening. I'm just geting a feel for the CB community will respond.

I wasnt around for cb1. How do tournies work?

You get a new character from scratch and you have an allotted time to make your character better than everyone else's, if so you win.

I'd like to participate. The only problem is how can you keep people from cheating?

The 3 contest ops will moniter such things and if there is cheating, it is easily identifiable and if it ends up affecting the contest everything will be refunded and the cheater will be banned from future tournies.

im for it but like could someone transfer money to this new character or give the new character stuff?

Thanks for volunteering Cup, there will be register post coming up, this si just to alert people to the idea and get feed-back. Yah, the trick is getting it to work, but I've got so much positive feedback I don't think it should be a problem.

If this tournament idea catches on then I might be able to help out later on. Right now I'm booked with studies and such, but I may have some free time to help out later in the school year.
