I have a handful of domains, all based around nick names ;)
mrwuss.com and zero-reality.com are the only two I really use much.

I'm a real newbie in the domain name area, but I'm currently with dreamhost, and got a domain name with them. I don't want to continue on with the plan, so can I "keep" my domain name, or does it remain dreamhost's property?

if you paid for it, it is your's, if it came with the package..it depends.
