What does MM have going for it? (in General)

Its damage doesn't spread? Is that all?

FB attacks before it, and does more damage to a single target.

CoC, does far more damage to a single target, and after losing out two attacks to MM, does more damage than it after about 7/8 rounds.

Why use MM over either FB or CoC?

I think you should change your name to 'Mr Topic Starter' or 'Mr Curious' or even 'Mr Debate' :P

I guess MM is the middle ground between FB and CoC, i.e. the DD of choice for people whose battles last around 4-7 rounds. Where MM does more damage than CoC would and doesn't have the drawbacks of a FB mage lasting into melee with a multi minion team (although I cannot think of a good reason to use MM over FB in a single minion team)

Also hitting one minion for alot of damage is often better than small damage on many minions, particularly when your opponent is using a ToE or GA.

Lastly FB does damage based on the number of minions alive at the start of the round so if many opposing minions have already died in a round the FB mages damage will not ramp up until the next round whereas the MM mage will do full damage regardless of how many minions have already died in the round.

Although hitting a single minion can also be bad, if you hit a ToE boosted MgS Wall. Your MM is going no where. At least with FB/CoC you still do *some* damage to other minions.

"the DD of choice for people whose battles last around 4-7 rounds."
if you changed to FB, your fights might not last that long anymore!
:p
