The QB Official Nominees Post (in Contests)

[T]Vestax September 21 2005 2:49 AM EDT

This post is Carnage Blender's permanent record for Quarter Blender 2005, 2nd & 3rd Quarters. This post will remain locked. After cache flush chat mails will be given to each nominee. The chat mails will contain 6 questions. When I receive the responses they will be posted here to help aid your QB vote.

The questions are a combination of questions asked before in the previous QB election, and some new questions. I have selected 3 from each. There was, however, much overlap between all the questions both old and new. I have tried my best in order to remove as much redundancy as possible.

Based on criteria that's been used since the days of CB1 nominees would have been brought to only 5. Yet, this may not hold true since we have double elections this time. Either way these questions will certainly be used to narrow down the choices quite a bit.

The Nominees

These were the questions that the nominees will be answering. I have received many of the responses so far. I'll start posting what they are sometime after noon tomorrow.

1) What brought you to CB and Why did you stay?

2) If you were told you couldn't win, who would you nominate to be QB and why?

3) Place yourself into the history of CB and give an account of what has happened since you have been here.

4) What do you think the responsibilities are of the QB, if elected?

5) Does a QB really represent the very nature of CB, or is it purely a popularity contest?

6) Make or choose your own QB question and answer it. Be sure to specialize the question to reflect what you think is important.

ICEFORGE

1) What brought you to CB and Why did you stay?

I first found CB through a site containing links to a lot of different online games, like this game, Utopia and the like, I tried out many and stopped doing them again, as it was damaging my concentration at school, seeing as we had internet during class, this was 3 years ago.

Through I honestly forgot the name, when I stopped playing a MMORPG called Dark Age of Camelot 7 months ago, I remember this game, and started looking through the different games at the site, and CarnageBlender ringed a bell and I returned, unfortunatly unable to join CB1, I just joined CB2, if I had the oppertunity, I would have joined both.

I got back into the felling and have been around for a good bit of month now, don't know if I will keep hanging here, if stuff goes as it is now, I will, having a good deal of fun, due to the very great level of advanced strategies you have access to in this game, very complex and yet so simple to learn, almost impossible to master.

2) If you were told you couldn't win, who would you nominate to be QB and why?

Tricky question, have to argue for someone else to be a QB, the question don't state if it has to be another nominee, so I will take 2 different ones:

If it had to be a nominee, I would select Bast, she is always helpfull in chat from what I have seen, being a ChatOp might have something to do with that through and is often fresh to take on a discussion with anyone about ingame issues, sometimes she speaks about other stuff as well, everyone do, but I just think it is nice to have someone who isn't afraid to say they disagree about something and then also go ahead to argue against the more "common" view.

If it didn't have to be a nominee, InebriatedArsonist would be my pick, simply cool guy in chat, might disagree with him about many things, but respect him and think he is a good thing for the community.

3) Place yourself into the history of CB and give an account of what has happened since you have been here.

Well, I joined in a time of Sefton vs. Ranger, when it wasn't quite surden who of them had the upper hand and both of them was fighting for the QB title (thanks for the LToE Sefton, just to mention) and went around helping newbies a lot in New Players, it was just before FB mages became so common in the minion builds and the tattoo's was yet not proven to be as powerfull, as we now know they was, given the nerf.

Since I came, the game have gone towards MageBlender (sorry Bast, know you hate that saying) than it was when I joined, but of late it has moves a bit from that again, which is lovely to see.

The nerfs of tattoo's and archery has come along as well, and a lot of other small stuff, but I think that Archery Nerf was probarly the one nerf that affected me the most, as I was going a single minion tank team, the very basic kind of HP/ST/DX at same level and Archery at 1/4th of the ST value.

So, that hit me had and I changed my spec since, but still having fun.

4) What do you think the responsibilities are of the QB, if elected?

It is the QB's responsibility to keep chat clean, like any normal chat-OP in CB has to, and (s)he also needs to be on the watch for people cheating (multis) and be very objective in some discussions, but at all time, I think the less you note the QB, the better, a QB is not a demi god or anything, just a player who represents that quarter of the year, in which he was selected.

A fine quote: "If you did your job well, people won't be surden if you did anything at all"

Not sure I got it perfectly correct to every word, but it is onto the point, as you should just do your work discretly, helping the community to be a better place for everybody, old and new players alike.

5) Does a QB really represent the very nature of CB, or is it purely a popularity contest?

The QB is supposed to be representing the CB community of that time where he is selected, I would hope, but as anything where the public should vote, it will turn into a popularity contest of some degree, nobody votes for someone they dont like, just because (s)he is a good represent of the community of that time, so it is probarly more a popularity contest than a represent of the CB spirit.

6) Make or choose your own QB question and answer it. Be sure to specialize the question to reflect what you think is important.

Hmm, yes, I will select this one, asked by Verifex, as I liked it:

Q: Are you going to quit with the next round of changes that affects you negatively?

Well, no, I like to adapt to new things, I think that is part of the fun, as long as there is a way for me to continue fairly without pumping USD into the game, I will continue.

SEFTON

1) I came to CB from a link on Fark. I stayed because it mixed many of my favorite things. Strategy with out any "real-time elements" similar to my turn based ones, fantasy role playing, and community. I met my wife chatting on the net, so this in particular called to me. I was eager, not shy (shocked I'm sure) and asked a lot of questions, I got a lot of help from a lot of great people and was hooked from there.

2) I would nominate Koala. I think she embodies the true meaning of QB primarily from her dedication to helping new players in the new player chat. I think this is the most important element to being a QB. While posting in forums is a wonderful addition, I think the primary function of the QB is the projection of a positive role model in promotion of CB, and the best way to do that is via chatting in new players. Forums are often missed by new players, chat is not missed nearly as much. Almost every time I go to new player chat, Koala is there, and is there helping people. That is the best way to be a QB

3) Since this is CB2, I will keep my answer to CB2 history. I was here from the second CB2 started. I was eager to get good items from the store. I fought through lag and other early hiccups and nabbed a few nice items that helped me get going. I have seen and weathered every change, some better than others. I think I was out spoken about many of them, and may have been a contributory cause to some of them. I remember posting about rewards, and how great mine were in a post I think Avoid made. Shortly there after, tattoos were added to your PR. I started a team which pretty much failed, and when I restarted with a small farm, I began camping and fighting. My new team rose quickly as I was extremely fortunate in getting good items from the store. I was adding NW like it was free (wait it was free) and my new team was starting to shoot to the top. Shortly there after the NW to PR link was created. I kept and maintained a top 5 character with some wonderful and fun strategy talks with Ranger and Almuric (to name just a few) that kept the battle for the top interesting and fun until monetary demands from home (I'm am the single bread winner in a family of 5) required I liquefy any and all assets I could. Even then I figured I could and would use my camping and fighting technique to prove to all the naysayers that with the proper application of NW a pure mage team could be a top 10 and eventually the #1 character so I retired all my farms, and began a new character with that purpose in mind. Shortly thereafter camping was removed from the game. If you happen to like the "other" portion of your train screen, that was my doing. I can say that. I started a thread, fought through some FORS flames, and eventually made my case and point and it was implemented. All in all, I have been a fairly vocal part of every major game change, so at least in that respect I have been a part of CB history from the beginning of CB2.

4) The responsibilities of QB in my eyes are to be a good positive role model for CB and to promote it whenever possible. I think this is best done by being there for new players, and that should be done by helping in any way you can in the new player chat. I think you should hold yourself to a higher standard in QB. That standard is primarily in behavior. In my eyes, the QB should not be getting fined for improper language in chat or posts, for trolling or hijacking threads, or for being a disruptive influence. This does NOT mean you should not post your opinion nor defend your opinion, simply should not do so in such a way that it requires an admin to step in an punish you is some way.

5) I think this question is a tad loaded, because to truly reflect CB in a positive way and as a positive role model you must be popular to some extent for it to be effective. I mean if you are a great CB role model but no one knows who you are what good does that do? So I think QB is a popular person, who is respected by the community, and embodies the spirit of CB.

6) Who is Sefton? You might not think it to be a great question, but it really is (see I'm modest too!) I think for anyone to understand someone, you have to know the person, so you can see where they are coming from. I would not expect a 13 year old candidate and a 32 year old candidate to have the same life experiences and thusly I would not expect them to have the same types of answers to these questions. They might, they might not, but to figure out how and why I might feel the way I do, you need to know who I am. I am a 13 year old (at heart) in a 36 year old male body. I am married to a wonderful supportive woman who happens to play CB as well (man it is MUCH easier that way). I have been married for almost 5 years, and this is my first marriage. My wife brought 2 wonderful kids with her, and we have one together. Yah, that adds up to a family of 5. From a bachelor of 32 years to a father of 5 in a blink, let me tell you there was a slight period of adjustment there. I met my wife on IRC EFNet, so meeting and talking with people in a computerized format is not new to me. I knew her for about 5 years on IRC, then I starting wooing her, and well the rest is history you don't need to know. I am a working professional in the computer networking business so I get to be on and around computers all the time. I work on them all day and play on them all night (ok you caught me, I play on them during the day too) I live and work in St. Louis Missouri. In general, I am a kind, considerate, not modest person. I think I do have a good sense of humor and of common sense. I am definitely a lover, not a fighter, but at the same time, will defend me and my family with a howitzer if needed. That's about it I guess, sure there is lots more about me, and lots more to learn, but that is true of anyone when trying to write a paragraph about oneself. The autobiography is however to hit the book stores shortly, and sure to be a number one best seller.

SUTEKHDESTROYER

1) I clicked on a Slashdot link, played some battles, and stayed. Chat was helpful, and the BA usage was addictive. I liked not having to play a lot to still use optimal "game" time. I played to reach the top, and I did. After that, I stayed for the community and to play with other strategy ideas. I realized I really didn't know a lot about the game until I stepped back and just played for the fun of it.

2) Sefton. He is a great man, a great strategist, great camper, and great mentor. That's all there is to it.

3)I started in May of 2003. The big rescale was already done (though a smaller one came later). "Fingers of Death" spell was gone. As far as history, I would like to say I was part of some CB1 history, Todd and I battling it out for the top spot. My stay there was brief, but it was fun. I helped test CB2, and then I had Jonathan delete the Sutekh account. I was going to "go anonymous" as Chet for a while. That didn't last long, as it was hard to play at work without overlapping IP addresses. So, I came out as being Sutekh, and instantly started complaining. *smile* CB2 has been fun, and I think we have a great group of people. We also have a lot of fun new things to play with. I sold out my character "Cougars" a couple months back and am not trying to get back to the play-purely-for-fun ideal.

4) I was QB on CB1, and about the only job requirement as I see it is to set a good example as player, tactician, writer, mentor, and community member. Setting a good example is where the real power is, since there isn't a whole lot else any one person can do.

5) I think it is a little of both. Going along with question 4, being QB is about setting a good example. If you can manage that, you will get those who respect you, those who copy you, and those who idolize you. So, that results in a QB becoming CB-incarnate as well as being/becoming popular.

6) My specific question would be...why me? The answer is actually, "no reason". I think there is a lot of better, newer blood out there to act as QB. Don't get me wrong -- I would be honored to be QB here on CB2.

LINGUALA

1) One day, I got bored and decided to roam the net for games like utopia, simple, text-based kind of game. Looking on google and sites like www.mmorpg.com I bumped upon carnage blender(the first). Didn't look like it would interest me much, but I went ahead and signed up anyway. I went through the training part and not long after it got a chat with my mentor. Curious as I am, I asked him any question that popped up in my mind and believe it or not, he actually took the time to answer most of them and give me extra info aside that. So, the first few days I just stayed because of a good mentor and after a while I got to know the community better and once that happens...no way of turning back :-)

2)If I couldn't win, I'd nominate any other nominee. I believe they have proven themselves just to get nominated. I am convinced that the community loves them all, otherwise they wouldn't be where they are now.

3)I can't believe people actually want to know this, but hey, who am I to disappoint them. Well, I've been out of carnage blender for 3 months, I came back maybe a month ago now(today: 21/09/'05). Most of the things I can remember are small things like jon nerving tats, this was at the very beginning of cb2. Tattoos could be loaned and rented. People who owned tats actually gave money to those who wanted to train their tats. So, tats were nerved and loaning them became very expensive. After those events I remember my TSA(trollskin armor) dissapearing and of course a note from jon that says TSA's were removed from this cb. The bit of cash he gave was handy though :-) Severswoed, me, glowie and some other met and started a clan. Half of us quit and made an eco clan. And not much later than that, RL forced me to stop playing. Now I'm back and noticed alot more changes. Most of them good, especially the equipment bonus. going up with every +. Campers, I'm sorry for you guys, but the new method of rare spawns is muuuuch better...had to be said.

4)Responsibilites of a QB? And here i was thinking they were just the most popular people around. Ok, I guess the QB at least has to show good sportmanship and be exemplary when it comes to following chat rules like PG and all other rules that keeps our cb going. I also think QB's should represent the gamers and therefor be the person to chat with jon about possible good ideas to make cb more interesting or easier.

5)I think the very nature of CB is different to every single player. Of course, a QB should be someone who knows CB as the inside of his pocket, but that doesn't mean he can represent the very nature of CB to everyone. CB is a very versatile game and many people with different characters play it. I think it's not possible for 1 single person(meaning our QB) to get along with every other gamer playing this game.

6) Q: Why do you think you deserve the title as QB, putting aside the votes you got from the gamers. A: When I saw QB's could be elected, I just asked in the chatroom if anyone would vote for me. Aparently, some people thought I was could become a QB. Thanks for that :-) But personally, I'm much more pesimistic about it. No matter how you look at it, most of the other candidates deserve this title more than I do, at least that's what I think. So, to put it short and simple; I don't deserve it.

MIKEL

1) What brought you to CB and Why did you stay? I found the link on a gaming site while voting for another game and wanted to try a new game. After a couple of days of playing around with this game, I was hooked.

2) If you were told you couldn't win, who would you nominate to be QB and why? Probably Sefton, he gives people advice on their Strategies and helps them play better.

3) Place yourself into the history of CB and give an account of what has happened since you have been here. I started on May 29th, Played around, got active in chat and listened to other people, put together a strategy involving an FF, and it worked great for me. I have seen some changes made to the game that makes it better. Such as rares spawning to aucitons, and the current alteration to the NUB.

4) What do they think the responsibilities are of the QB, if elected? Hmmmm, tough question, but easy enough, help out new players and vets alike tweak their strategies to help them out. Also Identify problems within the community or game so that Jon can fix them if he feels its important enough in the fewest amount of words possible.

5) Does a QB really represent the very nature of CB, or is it purely a popularity contest? I think it represents the nature of CB, you want people who are helpful to be identified so that others can trust them. Many people are wary of players within the game. I know I was until I started learning who I could trust.

6) Make or choose your own QB question and answer it. "Nominee, tell us about other gaming experiences you have had, (online or otherwise), and how those experiences stack up to CB. If you are a heavy gamer, why have you stuck with CB as opposed to something else?" I have played a few other online Games, Utopia comes to mind, I was monarch of a top 5 Kingdom over there, it is a text based fighting game and has k's of players that play it. Another game I like a lot is called FaitH. It is more graphical than the others and most actions have to be timed. I am usually one of the top 10 players on the game. I'm currently riding a streak of 7 era's in a row where I have been in the winning kingdom. *this game resets every 3 months so you have to start over from scratch again. The key to most games isn't necessarily how good you are, but keeping peace between your kingdom/clan mates and staying united against all other threats. I have stuck with QB because it has a many different strategies, I love playing with economies and that is an aspect that is missing from most war games.

BAST

1) What brought you to CB and Why did you stay?

I was a referral. A friend told me it was an excellent way to stay in touch with some people I know, but do not see frequently, as it provides both chat and chatmail opportunities. Yes, I use CB as a communication tool -- it's great! Throughout my 6 months on CB1, I was mostly chatting but I migrated to CB2 with everyone else and stayed because it offered the chance to (actually) be competitive. The biggest difference between CB1 and CB2, for me, is that using BA in CB1 was (effectively) pointless but since CB2 offered everyone a fresh start and continues to allow new players a shot at catching up, it's always truly "a competitive game".

2) If you were told you couldn't win, who would you nominate to be QB and why?

GL, Sefton, Sutekh ... tough choice. Sefton, I think. He's the great all-around community member and player, even if he doesn't spend enough time in Carnage. ( :P ) Excellent game knowledge, thoughtful/reasoned/informative posting, helpful, charming, fun! Yes, fun contest entries matter as a function of adding something other than complaining and FS/WTB to the forums.

3) Place yourself into the history of CB and give an account of what has happened since you have been here.

I started CB2 on Day 1 -- everything has happened since I've been here! The first month was wonderful, as almost everyone was at the same disadvantage. Since then it's been about the changes -- the addition, and constant tweaking, of the tattoos; the removal of everything from the CoBF (ToBF?) to camping; the addition of more new concept items. The simplicity and elegance of the game is made most obvious by the constant balancing of powers, nudging some while braking others, and the resultant community/social reaction to each (in our little fishbowl) is always worth watching.

4) What do they think the responsibilities are of the QB, if elected?

Responsibilities? None. It's isn't a job, per se. Obligation to the community? To live up to the ideal of the honor. If QB status is to mean something to the people who see it, it means accepting the obligation of behaving as a CB ideal. Without an interactive community, the game is just a game (you could just as easily be playing solitaire in your basement), so the QB is obliged to foster community spirit -- it can't be all about HP:DD ratios! Through involvement with the personalities/characters of chat and the boards, being welcoming and trying to draw out (or draw in :) ) the quieter players, truly being interested in the success of new players or new strategies, the QB should foster the social growth of the community.

5) Does a QB really represent the very nature of CB, or is it purely a popularity contest?

It is an ideal -- what we do with that is up to us. If the Blender of the Quarter is representative of the nature of CB, it is by the agreement of the community. If it isn't, that's our fault too. Choosing a QB, for me, is about setting our own community standards by popular vote. If "purely" implies "just", then I suppose that depends on how seriously the community takes its own responsibility.

6) Make or choose your own QB question and answer it. Be sure to specialize the question to reflect what you think is important. Complements of Rubberduck, with a slight rewording: What are your views on the NUB?

"Woot! Go, New Players!" Or, if you prefer, "Come get me!". If you want the longer version, I'll happily forward it to you. :)

GUN

1. An ad at pcworld.com while I was looking for free demos and stay for casual gaming with an above par chat.

2. Already know I won't win and voting Sefton anyways, because it's his time to shine.

3. An incredibly great start socially, rather progressive with mages in the months to come, splintered off in cb2 and got a string of bad newbs. Once claimed myself the dirty harry of ops which later became a reality. Boy am I glad it's only verbals again. Now with bot harsher than ever, carping lames, and taking names. Tyrant is gone but the fun is still on.

4. There are no actual responsibilities even if they think it's like the presidency. Only job to do is to be the same nice person that got you there in the first place. Only a bit less sarcasm in the mix.

5. Popularity contest on outside, sugar coating on inside. Like electing a lesser pope or saint but really ends up being a pop contest with voters. Good will toward users with a few "he gav me tat" reasons given.

6. What are the best qualities of a QB? Generally Open with others, often cited as being very generous, and harmonious in nature. Goes for both chat and forums.

DAWG

1) What brought you to CB and Why did you stay? I work nights for a company that has multiple sites all over the USA I handle a very large network along with multiple programming projects for my company. Unfortunately during the night time the mind gets tired of working and looks for alternate means pass time, this is how I found CB searching through Google for games and found CB. I stay because I love this game and there is allot of thinking involved. In addition, there are tons of nice and brilliant people that love to help and that is what I like to do work hard and help out others. (wow sounds corny but it is true)

2) If you were told you couldn't win, who would you nominate to be QB and why? Quite honestly I don’t think anybody who gets elected will be able to top ranger. I feel it to be a great honor to be nominated but filling ranger’s shoes will be a tough job. If I could nominate anybody it would be ranger again but he can’t be nominated again. My second choice would have to be Bast she has always been fun to talk to and really knows her stuff and, even though she is in a competing clan, was always willing to help out. Oh and she has a sense of humor and is a wonderful op.

3) Place yourself into the history of CB and give an account of what has happened since you have been here. Well there has been to much happened since I have been her to really pick 1 thing so here are a few things that were big for me that I can remember. I was here when CBFs got wacked (oh yeah and I had the 2 largest CBFs in the game when it happened). And of course I am sure most everybody knows the “Monty” thing I was here and a victim of that whole deal but thanks to our great QB Ranger, I did get my principal back. Almost all of the change of the months I have been here for and remember most all of them either for good reasons or bad. (That is the best I can come up with)

4) What do they think the responsibilities are of the QB, if elected? My thoughts would be to just keep peoples attitudes positive about the game and discourage any negative thinking by any players. Also I think that being QB means that QB helps out when needed to correct any wrongs done to people to make them right. Primary example of this is how Ranger handled the Monty situation that was way above and beyond the call of duty for a normal player but right up the alley for a QB.

5) Does a QB really represent the very nature of CB, or is it purely a popularity contest? Honestly I think it is a pure popularity contest but I think if all QBs are as helpful and giving as Ranger our previous QB than CB will be a much better game. So the very nature of CB would be much better if everyone believed they were a QB, just without the title.

6) Make or choose your own QB question and answer it. Be sure to specialize the question to reflect what you think is important. Question: What are your thoughts on USD usage in CB? Ok I picked this question because I think I am the biggest USD spender in the entire game. But I have a method to my madness, I don’t have all the time that most great players have to fight all the time and never miss a BA but I work my tail off trying to do so. I feel that if you have it to spend and want to beat them all why not do it. I have a highly competitive drive to anything I put my mind to and I will do what ever it takes to be the best, if spending USD to get to the top works than go for it if you can get up there without spending any than great job that is much harder to do but takes too much time for a busy man like my self. So USD spending I obviously give a big thumbs up and for all that don’t spend USD than good luck. Allot of players have made it through without spending any USD, but most of them are old seasoned players who have been here since the beginning of CB2. Also, so most of you know, spending USD isn’t always that great also I have been burned many times by players who needed some cash so favors were done and I got burned, but that still hasn’t stopped me from lending a big extra hand when a respected player needs help. (sorry this is long and drawn out I have had a very long 2 days of no sleep and all work)

[T]Vestax September 23 2005 11:58 PM EDT

3C4FT3LLUB

1) What brought you to CB and why did you stay? I was brought to cb by smallpau1 and chargerz back in Oct. of 2004. When I first started out I played because it was an RPG I could play while waiting for a counterstrike scrim. Then when I wasn't playing I could burn ba. I also liked the people. At the time there was spid, Mrs. di and many others who helped me out…as I got more interested and learned more strats…I fought and finally got 1 mil pr a couple months ago and retired Bull3t_f4c3…I decided to play cb1 and cb2 on Jan 2 because I liked the atmosphere on cb1 and I believe cb2 could be better. Mostly it's good because there is no un-pg stuff allowed which means you won't have any disrespect or hardcore flaming. Also most other rpg's tend to be supply wars (whoever has better stuff or more stuff wins) Cb2 makes you think about how to raise your character efficiently so you can beat higher mpr chars. There is also an economic game involved which I thought was cool because if you're not into fighting, forge.

2) If you were told you couldn't win, who would you nominate to be QB and why? If I couldn’t win, I'd definitely pick Sefton as QB. He revolutionized CB2 by being one of the best campers and at the same time raising one of the greatest strats ever…It's sad to see him give up his character, but he's got to do what he's got to do. His person was a great role model to follow and even though he doesn’t play as much as he did a month ago, he still is respected the same, by me anyways.

3) Place yourself into the history of CB and give an account of what has happened since you have been here. I made my account on Cb2 on Jan. 1, 2005. I was in Hong Kong and couldn’t burn ba on that day because I was on an old laptop/ dial-up and the cb2 sidebar was loading with my cb1 homepage. I returned home on Jan 3 and started fighting. I remember SNK3R was killing everyone and going for unbeatable or so he thought. I started raising Bull3t_F4c3, but that turned out to be a horrible strat. People were exchanging cb1 for cb2 at 20:1 and cb2: USD was 1mil:20…Jan and Feb were crazy months. There used to be ltoj's…then those got deleted…people were getting money for nw changes on items and all little bugs were getting fixed…In March I realized Bull3t_F4c3 was terrible so he became a farm. I saw the movie, The Incredibles and started my current 3 minion char. SNK3R died all of a sudden and Sefton started making a move, shortly after Ranger made a charge. We all noticed that struggle and finally Apoc Book emerged. All the while, I was trying to loan out money, but some sadly fell in the hands of Monty, but all the while that business was good…I fought and used the money from that to loan out to people and just started out in a standard clan…that’s my story (hope it didn’t bore you)

4) What do they think the responsibilities are of the QB, if elected? If elected a QB serves the community. That is to stay in new players' room and answer any questions asked. They tell people to be pg. They should be on most of the day and play the game hard. There is nothing better in a QB than for him/her to play hard and show other what can happen by thinking and playing. Prime example: Ranger. That is why he is a QB in my eyes.

5) Does a QB really represent the very nature of CB, or is it purely a popularity contest? Both. Qb's do in fact represent the nature of Cb. They do everything I said in #4, but if people don’t like you, you won’t win and if people do like you, you have a way better chance. This is a human way of life and you can take any election as an example.

6) Make or choose your own QB question and answer it. Be sure to specialize the question to reflect what you think is important. Q. How much more dedicated will you be to the game if elected? I probably wont miss a single BA per day
