CB link as Download on ZD Net UK. (in General)

Not sure if this has been posted already, but there's a "Carnage Blender 2.1" download on ZD Net UK.

"Carnage Blender is online RPG game. The main purpose of the game is to kill the other players, using whatever strategies suit you best which may include weapons, armor, enchantments, and powerful offensive magic spells. This program allows you control over the CB environment."

I've not donwloaded the file myself...

All it is is just a bookmark to get to cb2, There isn't any real client thing even though there is an installer that just installs the files in a folder to program files.

It is very strange.

People have done this before for other sites (dunno where, as those sites are useless for me as a non-Windows user). I believe it's a great way to get referral bonuses ;)

It's on CNET too.

I'm pretty sure, although not positive, this was from a previous admin, uhh I forgot what his name was.. doh.. he was a nice guy too :)

Funny you should say that...

Actually, I couldn't resist this link when I saw it... just had to find out what a 'downloadable' file for CB was. It turned out that it was a little Windows app. that used the internal IE engine to make a client for CB2. I used it back when I couldn't use Java in FF, but those days are long gone. Weird, no?
