one of my friends was telling me recently of how they were banned for being a multi user, the funny thing is that that person was not only not a multi user but that person was helping another of my friends out, you see, my friends(account Vrapli, darkmasterservant@hotmail.com) house burned down and he is unable to play except on friends computers. the way i have heard it is that a group of people decided that they would start a thread and get the owner of the computer and my friend banned from the site. This seems like a bad way to run a game as good as this one. I just want to understand why these two persons were not givin the chance to prove that there was no multi user account, but two seperate accounts. the banning of these users was [non-PG!] ignorant and those responsible should have used a [non-PG!] brain.

"one of my friends was telling me recently"

Been talking to yourself again, Vrapli?

"I just want to understand why these two persons were not givin the chance to prove that there was no multi user account, but two seperate accounts"

Well, there simply was no need for that this time. Yes, I have no problems believing your claim that damion188 and Vrapli are 2 persons. But damion188 did spoil it for you by claiming in chat, while logged in as Vrapli the following:
"<Vrapli> this is my neighbors
<Vrapli> hes in colloage so im working for the both of us".
Which clearly is against point #4 (out of only 5, it can't be *that* hard?) of the Terms of Use you agreed to when you made your account(s):
"You agree not to share access to the CB account you use."

"act before they think"

Twit should have followed his own advice.

You're welcome!

can't there be another way around all these multi's? Just banning just seems to attract more multi's (especially with the selling for USD things).

Sukotto [lookingglas] September 26 2005 5:24 PM EDT

Well yeah, but finding them in real life and beating them with a stick is illegal in most regions. So I guess we're stuck with banning.

Aco,

What else should we do with a problem that has been around since the dawn of cb1?

Start calling parents?
