new tat suggestion (in General)

here it is - lets just call it the "Rune of Bling" : )
this tat increases your CASH battle rewards. sort of a counterpart to the RoE.
BUT, unlike said counterpart, this new tat does gain levels. It also adds to your PR. the kicker is that those levels on the tat do nothing for you except put more PR on you. (see next point though)

so, the tat becomes less useful the higher level it is. as more PR on you becomes useless, the harder it is keep the tat useful. However, to prevent abuse, the tat can also have less of an effect the greater the gap between your MPR and it.

also, this tat should have the same growth rate as the lessers currently have.

my idea with this: The Trickle-Up theory
now some of you may have heard of the trickle-DOWN theory, but here on CB we should have something different. I want the tat to HAVE TO be passed on from player to player.

In summary:
this "RoB", has the following properties:

  1. -- It increases cash rewards each battle
  2. -- It levels up like a lesser tat
  3. -- It adds PR normally
  4. -- The effect is less the larger your MPR is than the tat

Sounds question: The RoE has varied returns on the experience it adds to a minion based on minion number, doesn't it? I assume this would just be a flat cash increase (with randomness, of course)?

I think it is a great idea, except for the name *smile*. Maybe Rune of Wealth or Rune of Riches would fit better with the themes in the game?

no, the RoE xp gain is independent of minion count

just like other tattoo lvl gain is

and what, did you expect Jon to give a straight answer?

what do you think about the tat basically needing to get passed on? I thought that was interesting, but then again, *I* am "interesting" sometimes, so I can't always tell which are good ideas and which are bad...
the way I see it working is that small chars will be able to use them at first, but soon outgrow the tat. then the next char can be slightly bigger, etc.etc. These might take a very long time to reach the higher ranks, but up there its pretty hard without a [useful] tat (or so I've heard). ...Or they might never reach the top, because of the growth rate... but anyways, what do you think the effect on the game would be?

Although this idea has some merit and I like it in theory, I believe this Tattoo would increase the "problem" that many cb2'ers are complaining about with regard to usd involvement. This would only increase the NUBs selling cb2 for usd and not adding any real value to the game itself.

I think it is a good idea and to solve glory's problem how about people with the nub cannot advertise to sell cb2 for usd. they should get like a 25k fine or something like that.
