I think it is, I just wasted 20k MPR, 20k off my tat, and 400k. All that for trying a new strat, and it didn't work so I had to put back like it was before. Is there some problem here? I lost 400k for changing tattoos, why not maybe a shop were u can test ur tattoo as another
tattoo, and while untraining have no exp lost.
Thoughts?
Too bad, your fault for trying new strategies!
Be sure and think very carefully before you choose/pick/change a strategy. Plan it out ahead of time and know your weaknesses/strength of whatever strategy you choose so you can best forecast the outcomes.

It should motivate people to think more about strategies, and discuss it more.
If there was no unlearn penalty, then two things can happen:
- People keep changing their stats all the time, only to annoy other people.
- Eventually, because trying all strategies is so cheap, 1 optimal setup is found and everyone uses it. Boring.
I agree to an extent ... there would be one main strat and then another semi-main strat that is built/designed to counter the main strat .. still boring ... I agree though unlearning is harsh ... really makes u think :)

Also, all the better is the feeling, when you notice that that changes you were considering for a long time is actually working better than you thought ;)

"Untraining a Problem?" If only all problems could go away simply by un-training them...
Well what happens when Jon makes a change and it hurts your strat knocking you down quite a few pegs, what do you do then? Stick with a bad strategy and keep getting frustrated? or untrain and go to a new one?
Personally, I think we should all have a 2 day grace period after each change month to untrain and ink our tattoo's without a level/exp loss. Sure, it will still cost you 200k to re-ink, but that damage to your pocket book is recoverable.
I would love to change up my strat, but I'm not willing to take the hit to my MPR to do it or my Tattoo.
